Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our water resources group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions for complex water management issues involving both water quantity and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review project studies, reports, and design documents for water resources projects.
  • Provide field services and construction oversight for water resources projects such as dams, levees, streams, and lakes.
  • Mentor and develop younger engineers to become effective water resource modelers, designers, planners, and project managers.
  • Engage in public speaking regarding civil engineer water resources projects.

Project Focus

As a Water Resources Engineer, you will be involved in a variety of projects, including:

  • Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
  • Storm water planning
  • Stream restoration
  • Design of flood reduction and water quality improvements
  • Watershed-scale plans and studies

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in water resources engineering, preferably in the Midwest.
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or closely related engineering field.
  • ND Professional Engineer's License or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
  • Interest in leading others and pursuing continual growth as a leader.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel periodically.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
