Job Description

Cobalt AI, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Development Representative Lead to spearhead our outbound lead generation efforts. This key role will report to the Director of Marketing and focus on generating qualified leads and expanding our sales pipeline for our enterprise SaaS offerings.

Responsibilities
  • Build and Scale SDR Program:
    • Develop and implement the SDR program from inception, leveraging industry best practices and innovative strategies.
    • Scale the SDR team significantly, expanding responsibilities and diversifying roles to meet evolving business needs.
  • Process and Technology Optimization:
    • Implement and optimize sales processes, CRM systems, and sales engagement platforms to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Establish workflows, automation, and reporting mechanisms to streamline operations and drive measurable results.
  • Training and Development:
    • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for SDRs, including onboarding, ongoing coaching, and skill development initiatives.
    • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Performance Management:
    • Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure SDR performance, pipeline generation, lead qualification, and conversion rates.
    • Analyze data to drive insights and improvements, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales operations, and product teams to align SDR activities with broader company strategies and initiatives.
    • Foster strong relationships across departments to optimize lead generation efforts and enhance overall sales effectiveness.
  • Innovation and Adaptation:
    • Champion innovative approaches in SDR activities, such as integrating new technologies and refining prospecting strategies based on market trends.
    • Adapt outreach methods and sales tactics to optimize engagement and achieve higher conversion rates.
Requirements
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of progressive experience in SDR roles in Enterprise SaaS (1k+RMR), with a demonstrated program development and team management track record.
    • 2-3 -year experience in consultative/solution selling with 90+ day B2B sales cycle
    • 1-3 years of sales/marketing experience for a technology company (SAAS)
    • Proven success in building and scaling SDR programs, preferably in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
    • Experience in sales to Technology enterprises
  • Skills:
    • Analytic mindset – can analyze data and metrics and perform A-B tests to improve the outbound process.
    • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication, both verbally and written
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, adept at building rapport with prospects and internal stakeholders.
    • Strong administrative skills
  • Knowledge:
    • Proficiency in CRM software and sales engagement platforms.
    • Deep understanding of outbound sales tactics, lead generation strategies, and pipeline management.

Additional Information
  • Location: San Francisco
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Medical Benefits: We offer competitive medical, vision, and dental plans. Company offsets premiums.
  • Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 OTE (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)
