Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Seamless Access Supervisor to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a key member of our Patient Access department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily registration functions and ensuring the operational unit is staffed appropriately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the registration process to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a positive patient experience and improve registration processes.
  • Collaborate with staff, patients, and families to resolve departmental and patient problems.
  • Monitor key performance metrics to ensure goals are achieved and make data-driven decisions to improve operations.
  • Manage staffing schedules, including time-off requests and resource allocation.
  • Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met, including adherence to departmental and institutional protocols.
  • Participate in interviewing and hiring new employees, and provide training and mentorship to new hires.
  • Appraise staff performance, address complaints, and resolve issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in healthcare or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of patient registration experience and 3 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficient in computer and Microsoft Office skills, and familiar with healthcare EHR applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of patient registration, third-party insurance coverage, and regulatory requirements.
