Job Title: Paralegal Specialist Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal Specialist to join our team at Softpath System, LLC. The successful candidate will provide support to our commercial sales and service teams, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and regulations. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. Key Responsibilities: * Provide legal support to commercial sales and service teams, including review of customer terms, bid tender submissions, and HIPAA Business Associate Agreements * Support the development of commercial sales and services agreements with customers, including revisions to customer terms and conditions * Collaborate with external customers and their legal representatives regarding contract terms * Maintain a library of forms and resources, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements * Develop written procedures and workflow plans to improve operational efficiency Requirements: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, and a paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited school (or equivalent combination of related experience, training, and/or education) * Five or more years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in-house for a corporation * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with senior management and outside counsel * Proficiency in MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and the Internet Language Ability: * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public Math Ability: * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals * Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and to draw and interpret bar graphs Computer Skills: * Proficiency in MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and the Internet * Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of new business activities or issues, and to adjust to changing job requirements and priorities Softpath System, LLC is an Affirmative Action /Equal Opportunity Employer
