Position Summary:
This role is pivotal in overseeing portfolios and programs related to transformative initiatives, delivering products and services, or executing essential functions. Key responsibilities encompass leading strategic initiatives across various business lines, ensuring successful outcomes from portfolio investments. The role demands a business-focused mindset, employing sound judgment and effective communication strategies to influence stakeholders at all levels, while emphasizing risk management and strategic planning.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and enhance line of business performance through detailed operational routines, initiatives, and technological advancements.
  • Facilitate senior leadership forums to address pressing portfolio challenges, explore new initiatives, and coordinate project assignments.
  • Act as the primary liaison to executive leadership and key stakeholders, advocating for change initiatives and securing support for project execution.
  • Monitor key performance metrics to identify potential issues and proactively propose solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Engage in critical business meetings to provide updates on change initiatives and performance metrics, influencing stakeholders to drive success.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address policy, technology, environmental, and operational challenges.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for line of business products, aiding in the design of procedures and policies that enhance both associate and client experiences.
  • Lead teams supporting cross-functional strategic initiatives, either directly or through collaborative engagement.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years in project management.
  • At least 3 years in program or portfolio management.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations and their application to programs and projects.
  • Demonstrated risk and control mindset in project execution.
  • Ability to mentor and guide others on change management practices.
  • Proficient in influencing and negotiating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to address both simple and complex challenges.
  • Customer-centric approach to meet stakeholder needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in change management with third-party vendors.
  • Knowledge of Cash and Transportation Services operations.
  • Familiarity with Agile Technology Delivery principles.
  • Expertise in process simplification and business process analysis.
  • Strategic and innovative thinking capabilities.
