The Tasting Room Expo is in search of a refined and versatile professional to support our tasting room operations.

This position offers a chance to be part of a dynamic, rapidly expanding family-owned winery/vineyard.

We are looking for enthusiastic, sociable, and team-oriented individuals who possess a broad understanding of the wine and hospitality sectors, along with a solid grasp of tasting room functions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in tasting room management or a strong business management background, ideally with experience in small business ownership.

Candidates should exhibit passion, enthusiasm, and courtesy, maintaining a positive demeanor while aiming to provide guests with an unforgettable experience.

Demonstrated leadership experience is essential, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks, oversee operations, manage and motivate staff, as well as handle training, scheduling, marketing, public relations, event planning, and community engagement.

A background in sales and a comprehensive knowledge of wine are crucial.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Represent the Tasting Room Expo and its values with respect and expertise
Provide timely and efficient tableside service
Accurately take orders and maintain organization
Pour wine flights, open bottles, and demonstrate decanting skills
Serve and clear tables
Manage phone inquiries
Clean glassware and ensure it is polished
Lift up to 50 pounds
Restock supplies and manage inventory
Availability to work weekends and holidays
Familiarity with Point of Sale systems - Commerce7 (preferred)
Prior experience in tasting rooms, events, restaurants, or other hospitality-focused sales roles
Self-motivated, clear communicator, positive team player, and adept multi-tasker
Knowledgeable about wine and effective in sales
Must be at least 21 years of age


Compensation will be based on experience and knowledge, with opportunities for wine club sign-up commissions and tips. Work hours may vary.
