Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Business Development to drive growth and expansion in the Western United States. This key role will lead assessment and sales outreach, develop and execute strategies to attain desired outcomes, and manage competitive procurement opportunities for new business and/or retention of current contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead assessment and sales outreach to identify new business opportunities and expand existing relationships
  • Develop and execute strategies to attain desired outcomes, including fixed route, paratransit, and diversified transportation opportunities
  • Manage competitive procurement opportunities for new business and/or retention of current contracts
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Commercial Development and procurement team to ensure responsive and quality technical and pricing submittals
  • Work closely with the Chief Development Officer to identify and develop sales goals and meet Company targets for financial growth
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and success working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert-level written and verbal communication skills, relationship-building skills, presentation skills, strong decision-making ability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to understand all aspects of the procurement process and be skilled at Request for Proposal (RFP) reviews
  • Ability to work on multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously and travel extensively (80% of the time)
