Role Summary:

As a Medical Assistant in our orthopedic department, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing patients for medical evaluations
  • Documenting medical histories
  • Collecting and processing lab samples and medications
  • Assisting physicians during procedures such as casting, splinting, bracing, and injections

This role is vital in delivering exceptional care to our patients, who may require services ranging from general orthopedics to sports medicine, fracture management, joint replacements, and arthritis treatment.

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM.

Educational Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

Certification Requirements:
A Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant credential is required. Additionally, candidates must possess a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Preferred experience includes at least one year in an orthopedic clinic setting.
