Role Summary:As a Medical Assistant within our orthopedic team, your responsibilities will include preparing patients for evaluations, documenting medical histories, collecting and processing lab samples, and assisting physicians during procedures such as casting, splinting, bracing, and injections. This role is vital in delivering exceptional care to our community, covering a range of services from general orthopedics to sports medicine, fracture management, joint replacements, and arthritis treatment.
Work Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM; Friday, 8 AM to 12 PM

Educational Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
Certification Requirements:
Certification as a Medical Assistant or Registration as a Medical Assistant is required. Additionally, a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Preferred experience includes at least one year in an orthopedic clinic setting.
