Role Summary:

As a Medical Assistant in our orthopedic department, your responsibilities will include preparing patients for evaluations, documenting medical histories, collecting and processing lab samples, and assisting physicians during procedures such as casting, splinting, bracing, and injections. This role is vital in delivering quality care to our community, addressing a range of orthopedic needs including general orthopedics, sports medicine, fracture management, joint replacements, and arthritis treatment.

Work Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM; Friday, 8 AM to 12 PM

Education Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

Certification Requirements:
Certification as a Medical Assistant or Registration as a Medical Assistant is required. Additionally, candidates must possess a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Preferred: At least one year of experience in an orthopedic clinic.
