Account Manager Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our IT staffing team in Conshohocken, PA. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building new business relationships with potential clients in the IT staffing vertical and managing existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new business and grow existing accounts
  • Sell Piper's staffing services to hiring managers and guide the recruiting team on best practices for identifying talent
  • Utilize CRM and ATS systems to generate a pipeline and territory, set meetings with prospective clients, and negotiate prices and services
  • Act as the face of the company in the Pennsylvania staffing market
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience in new business development in an agency staffing environment, specifically selling IT staffing
  • Desire and ability to develop new business rather than exclusively manage accounts
  • Competitiveness and drive to succeed in a metrics-driven, commission-earning environment
  • Experience with CRM or ATS systems such as Salesforce, TargetRecruit, or others
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000/year (depending on experience level)
  • Uncapped commission (tiered plan; more spread = higher commission percentage; max payout tier of 20%)
