Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wealth Advisor to join our team. As a Wealth Advisor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive wealth planning services to high-income/net worth individuals and families, including professionals, corporate executives, business owners, and others with complex financial circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement goals-based wealth plans to help clients achieve their financial objectives.
  • Analyze clients' financial situations, including complex retirement plans, estate plans, investments, taxes, insurance, cash flow, cash management, and budgets.
  • Determine clients' financial objectives, risk tolerance, and capital requirements.
  • Counsel and advise clients on general financial forecasts and trends.
  • Collaborate with Lead Relationship Managers and other client service team members to integrate client service delivery.
  • Contribute to thought leadership in wealth planning and mentoring of other partners.
  • Engage with the professional advisor community to advance Northern Trust's brand and reputation.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in one or more of the stated fields, with some consulting experience desired.
  • CFP designation or equivalent required.
  • Effective communicator and collaborative professional.
  • Advanced educational and professional designations and evidence of advanced learning and professional qualification, including MBA, CPA, JD, CFA, and/or CIMA, desired.
