About the Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the consolidation team in providing both legal entity and Strategic Business Unit (SBU) consolidated views of forecasting, reporting, capital planning, RWA analysis, and SBU investor and shareholder reporting and Board reporting.
  • Prepare quarterly SBU financial reports, Board reports, and analyses for Investor relations.
  • Provide insightful analysis that identifies business drivers during the quarter and tells the story of the financials.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to produce depth analysis of expenses and become the expense SME of the team.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in Financial Planning or Financial Reporting, preferably in the banking industry.
  • MS Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
  • Essbase experience required; experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests, frequently working under tight time constraints.
