About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Belmont Village. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooking, cleaning, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and excellence in our culinary offerings.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as Belmont Village's standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum one year of volume cooking experience with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English.
  • Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
