Planet Interactive's Fortune 500 financial services client is looking for a Social Media Content Creator with at least 2 years of experience in project management for a 4-month contract.

The ideal candidate should be a passionate and innovative Social Media Content Creator. This position will focus on producing engaging native video content for our TikTok channel, aimed at advancing our brand for future generations of entrepreneurs. The successful applicant will have a track record of creating impactful short-form video content that resonates with audiences, enhances our visibility, and builds community engagement. This role is suited for a visionary thinker with creative concepts and a strong desire to connect with followers through unique social media strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and edit 2-4 short-form videos weekly, serving as a representative on our social media platforms.
  • Occasional travel may be required (~1/quarter) for on-camera seller interviews.
  • Collaborate with team leads and content managers both domestically and internationally to bring content ideas from concept to completion.
  • Assist in brainstorming, research, and script development.
  • Craft captions that align with our editorial and tone of voice guidelines.
  • Analyze social media metrics to evaluate content performance against objectives and generate ideas to engage new audiences and surpass targets.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in video editing and social media publishing.
  • Proficiency in TikTok and Instagram's native tools, along with basic video editing software (Adobe Premiere/Rush, Capcut, Figma, etc.).
  • Understanding of analytics tools and the ability to convert performance data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with social advertising and the integration of organic and paid strategies.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring precision in every aspect of content creation.
  • Experience with Google Suite and Asana is a plus.
