CULT GAIA is in search of a talented video content creator to develop engaging digital assets for promotional initiatives across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest. The ideal candidate is innovative and enthusiastic about crafting unique and entertaining content while staying attuned to the latest social media trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce concise and impactful promotional video content on a daily basis for marketing purposes, ensuring timely posting on social media and e-commerce platforms.
  • Adhere to the established content calendar to consistently deliver videos in a punctual manner.
  • Quickly identify and capture moments that are suitable for social media content across various brands and publications.
  • Collaborate with the content team and other departments to enhance video production and social media strategies.
  • Contribute creative ideas during team brainstorming sessions focused on video and social media initiatives.
  • Provide insights on editing previously recorded footage for the production team.
  • Identify challenges and inefficiencies proactively, working together to implement effective solutions.
  • Set up and dismantle recording equipment before and after use, ensuring everything is in optimal condition.
  • Maintain all video equipment in excellent working order.
  • Possess experience with lighting, audio equipment, color correction, editing, and digital special effects.
  • Track time spent on shooting and editing to ensure efficient output.
  • Stay informed about internet culture and current trends in video content.
  • Apply knowledge of contemporary video trends to create brand-specific content.
  • Conduct location scouting as needed.
  • Adapt content formats for various social media channels.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Proficient in various video editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Final Cut).
  • Familiarity with best practices for media creation across different editing platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring talent feels comfortable on camera.
  • Exceptional time management abilities.
  • Capability to work under tight deadlines while capturing significant moments on film.
  • Typography and kinetic typography skills are advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail for precise editing.
  • Adept at managing multiple edits and revisions within tight timelines.
  • Minimum of 4 years of video editing experience.
  • Solid understanding of color correction, tracking, and motion graphics.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback in a collaborative environment.
