This position reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for crafting and executing community and social media strategies across various platforms, aimed at enhancing engagement, attracting users, and nurturing a dedicated player community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute social media and community initiatives across multiple channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Discord, YouTube, etc.) to promote our AI mods for Valheim and Roblox while engaging our audience effectively.
  • Oversee and curate all social media profiles, generating content that aligns with the interests of our target demographic.
  • Increase follower count and boost audience interaction through comprehensive social programs, including content creation, campaign management, and performance analysis. This includes editing and sharing highlights from Twitch streams featuring creators and team members.
  • Collaborate with various teams to synchronize marketing strategies with game development and community objectives.
  • Interact directly with users on social media platforms, addressing inquiries, engaging in discussions, and building relationships with key influencers.
  • Evaluate social media metrics and community feedback, utilizing insights to refine strategies and report on key performance indicators.
  • Lead initiatives to unite gamers and fans, including managing VIP ambassador programs and utilizing user insights for product enhancements.
  • Stay informed about social media trends, especially within the gaming sector, and creatively incorporate these trends to boost engagement.
  • Work closely with the CEO team to ensure consistent messaging and effective management of user inquiries on Discord.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in social media management and community development, ideally in the gaming or lifestyle industries.
  • Demonstrated success in growing and engaging an audience through both organic and paid content.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to assess the effectiveness of social campaigns in relation to business goals.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with an emphasis on creating compelling content for a diverse audience.
  • Familiarity with image editing, web design, and/or video editing tools.
  • A genuine passion for gaming, with a comprehensive understanding of industry culture and trends.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Creative, driven, and proactive in advancing community and marketing initiatives.
  • Must be located in or near San Francisco, CA.
