About the Role

Couchbase, a leading data platform company, is revolutionizing the way businesses operate. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Systems Manager to lead our financial applications team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of internal members and external consultants to manage and support all financial systems at Couchbase.
  • Develop and implement the overall architecture of financial systems, working collaboratively with peers to determine optimal architecture for cross-functional work.
  • Own key SOX controls involving financial systems and represent them to internal and external auditors.
  • Form strong cross-functional relationships with teams to deliver solutions that drive business outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
  • Perform systems administration for key Finance business systems, including Netsuite, Coupa, Concur, RevPro, and Avalara.
  • Leverage expertise to challenge current business processes, assumptions, and systems design to drive the team towards improved scalable solutions.
  • Actively support the team by removing barriers or raising issues as appropriate to move work forward.
  • Manage third-party vendors as required to achieve deliverables, including escalating issues when needed.
  • Lead the establishment of standards and best practices across various processes where needed.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of management experience, including mentoring and team leadership.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience administering financial systems, with direct experience in key areas of Netsuite, including Order Management, Invoicing, and Cash Application.
  • Experience managing procurement software, revenue recognition software, and/or expense software, with a strong preference for Coupa, Navan, and Zuora Revenue (RevPro).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organization skills, effectively managing the team's portfolio of work across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with SOX compliance, including creating new controls, adhering to existing controls, and working with internal and external auditors.
  • 4-year degree in Accounting, Business, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with integration tools such as Mulesoft, Workato, or other iPass tools to integrate using APIs.
  • Experience with consumption or usage-based pricing models.
