Since 1970, we have provided a range of services including early childhood education, foster care & adoption, child welfare, mental & behavioral health, community and economic development, housing, community school services, and violence intervention services.
">About the Role
">The Strengthening Families Coordinator will play a vital role in establishing and maintaining relationships with community organizations that support the needs of children, youth, and families in our Community Umbrella Agency (CUA) service area.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- ">
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Child Welfare providers and community service providers.">
- Work as part of the larger CUA Team to achieve target goals of improving safety, permanency, and well-being of children, youth, and families.">
- Plan and facilitate Parent Cafés and other support groups.">
- Develop and deliver Strengthening Families orientations and workshops for the CUA and community.">
- Organize and promote agency events and encourage family participation.">
- Attend relevant trainings, workshops, and meetings.">
- Train parents to host Parent Cafés.">
- Support Community Liaison and Directors in building community partnerships.">
- Conduct outreach and develop community mapping strategies.">
- Follow up on event participation and document activities.">
