About the Job

This role involves creating a stimulating and supportive environment for children to grow and develop. You'll assist in planning and presenting engaging activities, ensure health and safety, and communicate effectively with parents.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing activities that promote intellectual and creative growth in children
  • Maintaining a safe and nurturing learning environment
  • Developing schedules and routines to meet the needs of children
  • Building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Providing regular updates to parents on their child's progress
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns to management

Requirements:

  • Experience in childcare, education, or a related field, preferably with STARS 3 or 4 certification
  • Strong passion for working with children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and patience
  • Clearances, health assessment, and negative TB shot required
  • Minimum of a CDA required, preferably enrolled in an Associates degree in ECE
