About the Role

As a Child and Family Welfare Specialist at Asociacion Puertorriquenos En Marcha Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and safety of children and families in our community.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing service plans that address the unique needs of each client, including those related to education, employment, and healthcare.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct home visits and assessments to identify areas of need and develop effective service plans.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide a range of services, including counseling, advocacy, and referral.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on client progress and outcomes.
  • Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss client cases and share best practices.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in human services, preferably in a similar role.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
