Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an After School Group Leader in Penacook. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire young people. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging programs and activities that promote youth development and well-being.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality services.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., education, child development, youth work) preferred.
  • At least 18 years old and 600 hours of experience working with youth or equivalent education/training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
