About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Domestic Adoption Program Coordinator to join our team at Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina. As a key member of our adoption services team, you will play a vital role in coordinating and planning services and resources for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide intake services and case management for expectant/birth parents and extended family members
  • Coordinate services with area organizations serving expectant women
  • Develop and implement effective modern adoption education programs
  • Make recommendations to the Director of Domestic Adoptions for the acceptance of specific children into our foster care program

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work or a human services field
  • Directly related experience in case management, assessment and referral, supportive counseling, intervention, psycho-social therapy, and treatment planning
  • Ability to work with general office equipment and operate necessary software
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record
