Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an After School Group Leader at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern NH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for local children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational, enrichment, and recreational activities that cater to the needs and interests of our members.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to members, helping them build confidence, self-esteem, and essential life skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective program delivery, promoting a positive and inclusive club culture.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure the highest quality experience for our members.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in youth development or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to motivate and engage with children, manage behavior, and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of youth development principles, child safety protocols, and best practices in program delivery.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends.
