Compensation:
Starting salary of $16 per hour.

Role Overview:
The Property Leasing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the effective management of the property, marketing available units, and screening potential tenants. This role involves maintaining positive relationships with residents, fostering a welcoming office environment, and representing the organization positively in all interactions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Showcasing properties and amenities attractively to prospective tenants
  • Managing incoming inquiries via phone and in-person
  • Responding to requests through various channels, including leasing information and maintenance follow-ups
  • Processing tenant applications
  • Advertising available units through diverse media
  • Promoting resident retention initiatives
  • Supporting the Property Manager and Assistant Manager
  • Delivering exceptional customer service in line with AHF standards
  • Inputting data into property management software
  • Staying informed about Fair Housing laws and regulations
  • Performing additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory)
  • Familiarity with Yardi and Microsoft Office (preferred)
  • Prior leasing experience (preferred)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree is advantageous
