About the Role

Safety-Kleen Environmental is seeking a Sales Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth for the Vacuum Services line of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to grow revenue and meet company targets.
  • Leverage cold calling, networking, and internal/external leads to generate sales.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and other teams to develop and implement market strategies and business goals.
  • Ensure strong communication with sales representatives and account managers regarding technical expertise, value proposition, and competitor updates.
  • Identify and exploit cross-selling opportunities for other company services.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer visits, and business opportunities in Salesforce.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of environmental industry and/or sales experience.
  • Experience with vacuum services or wastewater treatment highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of business development, revenue enhancement, and market penetration required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Customer service-oriented.
  • Subject matter expert for the product line (vacuum services).
  • Negotiating skills required.
  • Ability to travel regularly, with occasional overnight stays.
