Job Title: Product Manager II

Microsoft Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager II to join our team in M365 Government Operations. As a Product Manager II, you will play a key role in crafting, implementing, and executing processes to streamline operations and reduce friction in our cloud-based services.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in M365 operations, including a 24/7 on-call rotation.
  • Establish and evolve operational processes in support of cloud-based services across Microsoft 365 government customers.
  • Create products and lead projects towards the overarching goal of smoothly operating new cloud environments, including assistance in automation and the development of new standardized procedures across our customer environments.
  • Collaborate across Microsoft with engineers, developers, and team members to debug, improve, and optimize M365's services and infrastructure.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for cloud operations and drive for continuous improvement in operations processes and procedures.
  • Establish and report key performance metrics to measure the efficacy of the operational improvement techniques and determine the effectiveness of the underlying processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
  • OR equivalent experience.
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of related experience in product management, software development, SRE, or cloud operations.
