Your Role: As a Field Sales Account Representative, you will:

  • Develop a strategic territory plan that optimizes your call routes and maximizes your time in the field, ensuring you meet your sales performance targets.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with accounts and document follow-up actions in Grainger's CRM system.
  • Proactively enhance sales with each account by utilizing various communication channels to increase their purchasing through all of Grainger's sales and service platforms.
  • Respond promptly to customers' immediate needs.
  • Drive revenue growth to meet established thresholds.
  • Achieve or surpass daily metrics for calls and customer engagement.
  • Provide accurate reporting on customer interaction outcomes.
  • Identify sales opportunities, negotiate effectively, and manage customer requirements and cost considerations.
  • Report directly to the Field Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays, depending on the territory.
