About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Automation Analyst to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and supporting software applications that maintain or advance the clinical, operational, and regulatory requirements associated with medication management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership, clinical department users, IS, and other departments to facilitate usage and stability of software.
  • Solve or escalate issues and tasks requiring attention associated with software and associated workflows.
  • Support system documentation necessary to maintain change management requirements and system stability.
  • Build and maintain security models intended to maximize end-user functionality while also maximizing system stability.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
  • Current State Technician License or minimum of 3 years of experience in either or both inpatient pharmacy and software application management.
  • Thorough knowledge of the clinical environment including practices, procedures, policies, strengths, and weaknesses.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Current State Technician License in good standing.
  • 3 years of relevant pharmacy experience and 3 years of software application management.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)/Certification Board (PTCB).
