Agency Sales Leader

Combined Insurance, a Chubb Company, is seeking a seasoned Agency Sales Leader to drive growth and success in our Washington D.C. - Baltimore Area office. With a rich history of over 100 years in the insurance industry, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Job Summary

The Agency Sales Leader will be responsible for delivering annual sales objectives by sourcing, guiding, and supporting Agency Coordinators and Independent Agents. This role requires a strong understanding of the insurance industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and Development: Establish local networks, source prospective Independent Agent candidates, and affiliate new agents to sell Combined products.
  • Field Training: Provide in-person support to Independent Agents during sales visits, offer voluntary training and guidance, and develop expertise in the sales process.
  • Meetings and Administration: Lead voluntary meetings, facilitate training and development sessions, and assist Agency Coordinators and Independent Agents with administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • High School Degree or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of stable work history with a successful sales track record, insurance sales experience a plus.
  • 1+ years of Sales team management experience, leading an independent contractor workforce preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a team through proven sourcing and recruitment strategies.
  • Valid Life, Accident and Health license required.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office and tablet usage.
  • An active professional network is essential.
