We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, supervising front desk operations, and ensuring that our hotel meets the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Service: Greet guests immediately upon arrival, register and assign guests to hotel rooms, and provide welcome folders containing room keys, certificates, coupons, and refreshment center keys as appropriate.
- Front Desk Operations: Supervise front desk operations in accordance with established guest service, quality, and sustainability standards. Ensure that the front office is properly maintained in regards to cleanliness and appearance.
- Reservations and Bookkeeping: Make and confirm reservations, compute bills, collect payments, handle cash, and make change for guests. Perform bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts and conducting audits.
- Guest Complaint Resolution: Resolve guest complaints and concerns by conducting thorough research of the situation and determining the most effective solutions.
- Team Management: Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values.
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of related experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in hotel operations software.
