Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Execute opening and closing duties for the clinic
  • Welcome patients, assist with check-ins, and verify insurance details
  • Manage electronic health records by scanning documents
  • Maintain cleanliness of the waiting area and reception desk
  • Monitor schedules for any changes, including cancellations and no-shows
  • Schedule follow-up appointments as necessary
  • Address tasks within the electronic health record system
  • Order necessary office supplies for the clinic
  • Manage sales and inventory of cosmetic products
  • Handle incoming mail
  • Prepare for the next day's appointments

Qualifications

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or similar role.
  • Proficient in basic computer operations.
  • Quick learner of new software applications.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute is preferred.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Willingness to accept constructive feedback from supervisors.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor are required at all times.
  • Must exhibit a friendly, tactful, and polite attitude, showing compassion and care in interactions.
