Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Execute opening and closing duties for the clinic
- Welcome patients, assist with check-ins, and verify insurance details
- Manage electronic health records by scanning documents
- Maintain cleanliness of the waiting area and reception desk
- Monitor schedules for any changes, including cancellations and no-shows
- Schedule follow-up appointments as necessary
- Address tasks within the electronic health record system
- Order necessary office supplies for the clinic
- Manage sales and inventory of cosmetic products
- Handle incoming mail
- Prepare for the next day's appointments
Qualifications
Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or similar role.
- Proficient in basic computer operations.
- Quick learner of new software applications.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute is preferred.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Willingness to accept constructive feedback from supervisors.
- Professional appearance and demeanor are required at all times.
- Must exhibit a friendly, tactful, and polite attitude, showing compassion and care in interactions.
