Position Overview

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

The role reports to the Operations Manager.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Local travel may be required as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and register patients following established protocols.
  • Assist patients in completing necessary documentation, including insurance forms.
  • Ensure accuracy of patient information, including billing details.
  • Maintain and manage patient records efficiently.
  • Facilitate patient flow through scheduled appointments.
  • Handle incoming calls and transfer as needed.
  • Schedule patient appointments and collect co-pays.
  • Coordinate hospital discharges and annual wellness visits.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and well-organized.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One to two years of experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to obtain an Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with scheduling patient appointments.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple web-based systems simultaneously.
  • Competence in accessing and understanding information related to eligibility and insurance coverage.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Ability to respond to emails and messages promptly across various systems.
  • Effective communication skills, demonstrating respect and courtesy towards clients and colleagues.
