Role Summary

The Logistics Operations Supervisor at Select Water Solutions is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and secure transportation of oilfield fluids, fresh water, salt water products, and specialized loads using assigned tractor-trailer/tanker vehicles to various customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support drivers in fulfilling their operational tasks.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for any issues arising on-site.
  • Conduct tailgate meetings for the assigned shift.
  • Oversee the management of trucks and drivers during shifts.
  • Coordinate with mechanics to schedule preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Handle dispatching as necessary in response to daily changes.
  • Facilitate on-site repairs in collaboration with mechanics and the Yard Manager.
  • Manage daily electronic logs and hours of service to meet weekly scheduling needs.
  • Schedule operations to align with customer requirements.
  • Provide daily updates to the Yard Manager regarding shift activities.

Compensation is competitive and based on experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is primarily conducted outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, extreme temperatures, and near moving machinery; exposure to high winds, ice, snow, humidity, vibration, and dust is common.
  • Exposure to noise levels that necessitate hearing protection.
  • Involves prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
