Job Overview

UPS Industrial Services is seeking a Senior Project Planner to oversee turnaround operations. The ideal candidate will possess significant expertise in Fixed Equipment, Piping, and execution of tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Input and manage the project work plan effectively.
  • Interpret P&ID, Isometric, General Arrangement, Plot Drawings, and Equipment & Piping Specifications.
  • Identify process equipment and piping to develop repair scopes for fixed equipment.
  • Conduct field estimating activities to formulate repair scopes.
  • Create Bill of Materials (BOM) based on technical drawings and specifications.
  • Utilize PDF editing software to redline and annotate drawings for scope identification.
  • Track all aspects of scope development using electronic systems.
  • Develop and adjust work plans as necessary.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, organizational skills, and effective communication with management at all levels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial construction is necessary.
  • 2-5 years of experience in industrial construction supervision or quality control is preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to pass a drug screening.
  • Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
  • A valid TWIC card is required.
  • Must pass a physical and PFT/FIT test.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a capacity to lead by example are essential.
  • Strong communication skills are a must.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site is necessary.
