Key Requirements: This role is highly visible and requires the candidate to manage a complex, large-scale project.

Responsibilities include:

  • Aligning project deliverables with strategic business goals and clearly defining them for the team.
  • Estimating, defining, and scheduling project tasks and dependencies to ensure the project scope is achieved through a well-structured project plan.
  • Identifying resource needs and collaborating with the Steering Committee, Project Sponsor, and Project Management Office to secure appropriately skilled resources.
  • Holding team members accountable for their contributions to the project plan, including providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Adhering to the established project management methodology and maintaining all project documentation and records.
  • Tracking and identifying key performance indicators for project success.
  • Analyzing project outcomes, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and finding optimal solutions to minimize negative impacts.
  • Implementing corrective measures to ensure project success and managing change requests effectively.
  • Providing consistent updates and communications to internal and external stakeholders regarding project status, risks, issues, and action plans.
  • Escalating significant risks and issues to the Steering Committee and Project Sponsor.
  • Collaborating effectively with business partners, vendors, and project management staff to establish project objectives and ensure consensus among all stakeholders.
  • Transitioning the project into routine business operations upon completion.

  • A balanced approach to navigating political, economic, social, technological, and administrative factors.
  • Adaptability to changing environments and ambiguous situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
  • Independence in decision-making, particularly in executive and senior roles.
  • A commitment to meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • The ability to distill complex concepts into actionable steps.
  • A solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, including Capability Maturity Model integrated (CMMi) methods.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading multiple complex projects from conception to delivery, particularly in executive and senior roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with objective decision-making capabilities.
  • The ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and drive results in ambiguous or challenging situations.
  • A BA and/or BS in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
