Position Overview:

As a prominent establishment in the fast-casual dining sector, we are seeking a dedicated and talented Sous Chef to enhance our culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of quality and freshness in every dish served.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented consistently according to our quality benchmarks.
  • Guide and develop kitchen personnel, offering constructive feedback and mentorship.
  • Oversee food and labor expenses, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Participate in menu creation and innovation, focusing on seasonal produce and customer preferences.
  • Uphold kitchen cleanliness and safety protocols, complying with health regulations.
  • Manage inventory, procure supplies, and build relationships with vendors to guarantee ingredient quality.
  • Foster a collaborative and professional kitchen atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of culinary experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • In-depth understanding of culinary trends and industry best practices.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a talent for motivating a diverse team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
