Reporting Structure:

This role reports to the Executive Chef and will assist in leading a culinary team dedicated to crafting every dish from scratch with an emphasis on quality, flavor, and excellence to fulfill our mission: Exceptional Hospitality, Every Time.


Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in high-volume culinary management

Proven understanding of business operations and financials

Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management systems; prior experience with POSitouch and Crunchtime is advantageous

Able to work shifts exceeding ten hours, with the capacity to stand, sit, squat, or walk for extended periods

Must be available for closing shifts, weekends, and holidays as required

Able to lift, push, and carry up to 50 pounds

Manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment, knives, etc.

Ability to endure temperature fluctuations, occasional smoke, steam, and heat, and work in confined spaces

Must possess auditory, visual, and sensory abilities to observe and identify emergency situations; also to discern product quality, taste, texture, temperature, and presentation of food

Key Responsibilities:

As the Culinary Supervisor, you will:
Oversee shifts that include daily decision-making, scheduling, and planning

Exhibit ingredient knowledge and awareness of culinary trends

Utilize your experience and skills to assist the restaurant in achieving its financial objectives by managing food costs and identifying solutions when targets are not met

Ensure kitchen cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of equipment

Handle on-the-fly requests with composure, fostering a calm and positive work environment

Encourage a culture of continuous learning, open communication, and corrective action as necessary

Manage labor expectations and plan each scheduled shift accordingly

Demonstrate knowledge of sales and labor budgets and the ability to discuss P&L with the management team
