Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at New Wave People. As an integral part of our support services, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our Quality Management department.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours a week, Monday through Friday. The start time will be determined during the interview process, but it's likely to begin between 8:00 am and 8:30 am.

  • Answering phones, taking messages, and forwarding or transferring calls to relevant staff members
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings for Quality Management and Staff Development
  • Creating and maintaining meeting schedules for the Director of Quality Management
  • Taking minutes during meetings
  • Distributing incoming correspondence daily
  • Maintaining confidential filing cabinets
  • Purging files annually
  • Managing the time-off calendar for Quality Management
  • Placing supply orders and work orders
  • Backing up Risk Management, Staff Development, and HIM Admin tasks
  • Assisting with survey readiness and coordination
  • Maintaining policies
