Responsibilities:- Deliver excellent patient care service by demonstrating enthusiasm and a calm demeanor in a busy office environment.
- Ensure efficient and positive interactions with patients and co-workers.
- Work collaboratively as a member of the team to achieve the goal of providing outstanding patient service.
- Perform all check-in and check-out functions, ensuring accurate demographic and financial information for each patient encounter.
- Collect patient co-payments and past due balances, schedule appointments, and communicate with patients.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy consistent with HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform other related tasks that facilitate the flow of patients through the practice or enhance the quality of service to patients.
- A High School Degree or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of medical or health care related setting or equivalent in a customer service, front desk/receptionist position.
- Working knowledge of computer and respect for confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, paying close attention to detail.
