Executive Property Manager with Mechanical Aptitude

Mahler Private Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Manager to join our team. As a Property Manager with Mahler Private Staffing, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a luxury residence in Greenwich, CT.
Key Responsibilities- Care and Maintenance of the Residence: Ensure the smooth operation of the property, with a focus on commercial-grade mechanical systems, pools, terraces, landscaping, irrigation systems, dock, and sea wall.
- Regular Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all systems are in proper working order.
- Team Management: Oversee all property and seasonal employees, assist with training and onboarding, and coordinate vendors to ensure they are performing work properly and maintaining the integrity of the property.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform scheduled tasks, including washing windows, trash removal, pool and spa maintenance, changing filters and light bulbs, and watering plants.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep all vehicles fully serviced and properly stored during off-season.
- Interior Maintenance: Check the cleanliness of all interior rooms, working with the Hospitality Team and Housekeepers to ensure the residence and support buildings are ready for arrival.
- Financial Management: Develop an annual capital and operating budget for the property.
- Communication: Handle administrative work, respond to communication promptly, and manage property information on SharePoint.
- Transportation: Drive the family as needed.
- Errands and Tasks: Run errands and complete other tasks as requested.
- Experience: Prior experience caring for and maintaining fine homes or luxury hospitality properties.
- Background: A background in the trades is highly valued.
- Knowledge: Broad knowledge of high-end residential systems.
- Management: A proven track record of successful property, project, and vendor management.
- Demeanor: Professional demeanor.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic.
- Team Management: Experience managing successful teams.
- Computer Skills: Computer literate, tech savvy, and experience working with Microsoft products.
The work schedule will generally be 40-50 hours per week, with some Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as required. Hours may vary during family residency months, guest visits, and events.
