Key Responsibilities:
- Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for all hospitality requests at our clients' Connecticut and New York properties.
- Logistics and Operations: Oversee daily operation logistics and hospitality needs, ensuring seamless execution of events and activities.
- Quality Control: Conduct daily checks with detailed checklists to ensure family preferences are in place, maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
- Wardrobe Management: Oversee wardrobe management with the housekeeping staff, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Inventory Management: Manage and update inventories, SOP's, and checklists to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- PAR Levels: Maintain PAR levels across relevant departments, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Special Events: Organize special events for the family and oversee F&B servers, ensuring exceptional service and quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Property Managers to ensure a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring the properties are always in top condition.
- Staff Development: Train and develop staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional service.
- Communication: Create and coordinate detailed memos (logistics, bookings, accommodation) for family visits/trips, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
- Administrative Support: Assist with driving the family and errands as needed, providing administrative support as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience caring for and maintaining fine homes or luxury hospitality properties, or yachts.
- Leadership: Set and maintain the standard of hospitality within the residences, leading by example and inspiring others to do the same.
- Housekeeping and Food & Beverage: Strong Housekeeping and Food & Beverage background, with a keen attention to detail.
- Intuition and Prioritization: Intuitive by nature, able to anticipate the principals' needs and naturally strong at prioritizing.
- Professionalism: Professional and dynamic, with an ability to work well under pressure and maintain a strong work ethic.
- Team Management: Experience managing successful teams, with a focus on developing and motivating staff.
- Technical Skills: Computer literate, tech savvy, and experience working with Microsoft products.
Work Schedule:
As necessary to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position, including some Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as required. Hours vary during family residency months, guest visits, and events.
