Job Summary:

This is a driving position with administrative and loading duties. Daily routes can be up to but not limited to 8 hours on the road. Responsible for driving a van or box truck to deliver product.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Safely Operate a Vehicle: Safely operate a van or box truck for product delivery, adhering to road rules and DOT regulations.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete the DVIR log to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Asset Protection: Protect money and assets following cash handling guidelines to prevent loss or theft.
  • Customer Service: Promptly address delivery or customer concerns with the Distribution Supervisor, ensuring top-tier customer service during each delivery.
  • Order Management: Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation are in order before departure, and effectively communicate with customers, including pre-delivery calls and post-delivery updates.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Distribution and Sales teams on order-related issues, and review orders with customers, ensuring product accuracy and handling any rejections.
  • Payment Processing: Record customer payment details accurately for each delivery, and follow safety standards and report any vehicle issues or accidents to the supervisor.
  • Compliance: Ensure all delivery manifests are signed and compliance is maintained, adhering to company policies and procedures.

  • Integrity and Motivation: Demonstrate a high level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Driving Skills: Safely operate a delivery van in a variety of weather and traffic conditions, with a clean driving record and valid insurance.
  • Reliability: Show up on time and as scheduled, with a strong sense of reliability and accountability.
  • Technology Skills: Aptitude to learn and use new technology, with a willingness to adapt to changing systems and processes.
  • Eligibility: Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship, with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Background Check: A Livescan Background Check will be required for this position.
Education and Experience:
  • Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driving Experience: 1+ year of professional driving experience, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.
Physical Requirements:
  • Driving Ability: Must have the ability to drive for up to 8 hours a day, with a strong sense of endurance and stamina.
