Position Overview:

The Lead Commerce Strategist will oversee the daily management of search and commerce media initiatives for designated brands. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective development, execution, and innovation of search and commerce campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and sustain a comprehensive understanding of client businesses to align media strategies with their objectives.
- Collaborate closely with management to formulate and communicate strategic recommendations for search and commerce.
- Utilize data analytics to address business inquiries and guide decision-making, extracting insights to enhance campaign performance.
- Analyze performance metrics, identify emerging trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Demonstrate proficiency in search optimization, reporting, and campaign management, while being receptive to client requirements.
- Manage the daily operations of paid search campaigns, ensuring tactical execution and account upkeep.
- Oversee operational processes related to campaign management, including tracking, quality assurance, keyword research, and performance analysis.

Role Objectives:

- Design and implement paid search and commerce strategies across various platforms.
- Monitor and refine campaign performance to achieve business goals.
- Conduct keyword research essential for new campaign development.
- Compile necessary data for strategic planning.
- Organize keywords into ad groups and create relevant ad copy and extensions.
- Present strategic recommendations and incorporate client feedback into proposals.
- Upon campaign approval, manage the creation of flowcharts and the execution of buys.
- Generate documentation required for purchase authorization and ensure vendor signatures are obtained.
- Serve as the primary contact for trafficking approved plans into search engines.
- Ensure quality assurance of all campaign elements prior to launch.
- Monitor and manage campaign budgets, pacing, and bid adjustments proactively.
- Advocate for campaign modifications based on performance insights.
- Conduct ongoing performance monitoring and competitive analysis.
- Develop and implement optimization strategies and testing plans.
- Extract and analyze data to inform campaign reporting and derive strategic insights with actionable recommendations.
- Create clear and cohesive quantitative analyses with effective data visualization.
- Actively participate in client meetings and reporting sessions, presenting findings.
- Manage the monthly billing cycle, including invoice tracking and billing reconciliation.
- Address billing discrepancies in collaboration with client strategy and finance teams.
- Acquire proficiency in relevant reporting and analytics tools.
- Master core metric calculations and their interrelationships.
- Serve as a resource for Analysts, providing training and support.
- Cultivate strong relationships with client teams and partner agencies to ensure seamless communication.
- Establish productive rapport with media vendors and sales representatives.
- Collaborate with management to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
- Ensure timely delivery of all assigned work.
- Complete all required training programs and certifications successfully.
