The Lead Search and Commerce Strategist will oversee the daily management of search and commerce media initiatives for designated brands. This role entails the supervision and enhancement of search and commerce campaign creation, execution, and innovation.

The Strategist is expected to cultivate and sustain a comprehensive understanding of client operations and leverage their media expertise to fulfill client objectives effectively.

Collaboration with management is essential for the formulation and dissemination of all search and commerce recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop paid search and commerce strategies across various search engines and relevant platforms.

2. Monitor and enhance performance to align with business goals.

3. Conduct keyword research essential for establishing new campaigns.

4. Collect and analyze data necessary for strategic planning.

5. Organize keywords into ad groups and create pertinent ad copy and extensions.

6. Present recommendations and incorporate client feedback into keyword and copy proposals.

7. Upon campaign approval, responsible for constructing flowcharts and entering buys into the management system.

8. Generate documentation required for purchase authorization and ensure vendor signatures are obtained.

9. Serve as the primary contact for trafficking approved plans into search engines.

10. Conduct quality assurance on all campaign elements prior to launch.

11. Oversee and manage campaign budgets, pacing, and bid adjustments.

12. Advocate for campaign modifications based on performance insights.

13. Engage in active monitoring and management of performance metrics and competitive landscape.

14. Develop and implement optimization strategies and testing plans (e.g., search query reports, negative keyword management, keyword overlap analysis).

15. Extract and analyze data to inform campaign reporting and generate strategic insights with actionable recommendations.

16. Create clear, concise, and cohesive quantitative analyses with strong data visualization.

17. Actively participate in client status updates and reporting calls, including the presentation of findings.

18. Manage the detailed maintenance of the monthly billing cycle, including invoice tracking and billing compilation for managerial approval.

19. Address billing discrepancies in collaboration with client strategy and billing reconciliation teams.

20. Acquire proficiency in all relevant tools for reporting, analytics, and competitive analysis.

21. Master all core metric calculations and relationships (e.g., CPC, CPA, CTR, SOV, weighted averages).

22. Serve as a subject matter expert for analysts and provide support for training and ad hoc inquiries.

23. Foster strong working relationships with client teams and partner agencies by facilitating seamless communication.

24. Establish a professional rapport with sales representatives and media vendors.

25. Collaborate closely with management to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.

26. Ensure timely delivery of all assignments.

27. Successfully complete training programs and obtain necessary certifications.
