Job Title: Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary:

Ryerson is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Virginia Beach market. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow customer relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including purchasing decision makers
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to provide market intelligence to sales management
  • Collaborate with service center and regional sales/product management to develop quotes and contract proposals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of manufacturing or industry-related inside and/or outside sales experience
  • Prior knowledge of Salesforce and SAP is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to build rapport with customers across multiple industries and backgrounds
