Position Overview:
The Brand Partnership Manager at Strava plays a pivotal role in fostering relationships with brands and agencies to enhance engagement within our vibrant community of athletes.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Brand Partnership Manager, you will:

  • Utilize your established connections with major media agencies to promote Strava and its unique audience.
  • Sell innovative brand activation opportunities within the Strava platform.
  • Manage and cultivate relationships with existing partners, ensuring their continued satisfaction and engagement.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across various sectors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Account Management, Legal, Product, CRM & Marketing) to create impactful digital sponsorships.
  • Design immersive brand experiences that resonate with both clients and our athlete community.

Success Factors:
Your success in this role will be determined by your ability to:

  • Generate demand for Strava's offerings by identifying customer needs and proposing effective solutions.
  • Consistently seek out and close new business opportunities with agencies and brands.
  • Focus on brand value and return on investment in your sales approach.
  • Balance various opportunities while maintaining effective communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Educate partners on Strava's core values and prioritize collaborations that align with our mission.
  • Exceed revenue targets while contributing to the overall success of the team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales pipeline to support accurate forecasting.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role focused on digital advertising or sponsorships.
  • Deep understanding of the digital media landscape and a passion for building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey value propositions.
  • Strong organizational skills and ownership of your sales portfolio.
  • Experience advocating for customer needs within an organization.
