**The Role**
We are seeking an experienced Docket Administrator to join our team in our Chicago office. This role offers flexibility with a hybrid schedule, allowing you to balance work and personal life.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely handling of docketing and e-filing processes. They will serve as the go-to expert and point of contact for all e-filing matters, communicating updates to staff and attorneys, and managing e-filing escalations to maintain the quality and accuracy of Firm filings.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can prioritize tasks effectively and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internet research and experience working with court systems, including federal, county, and municipal courts.
**Responsibilities**
- Utilize the Firm's case management system proficiently, completing data entry, calculations, and retrieving information as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in court rules and procedures, ensuring optimal quality and accuracy in Firm docket and court filings.
- Complete e-filings and requests for docket work, notifying relevant parties if assignments exceed expected completion times.
- Actively prioritize multiple filings and determine the best course of action to complete them promptly.
- Provide support on e-filing to staff and timekeepers, addressing issues related to the e-filing process.
- Maintain effective communication with attorneys, support staff, court personnel, and external contacts, demonstrating a high level of customer service.
**Requirements**
- A High School Diploma is required; knowledge of court operations and administrative agencies is preferred.
- Experience with computers and internet research is essential.
- A professional demeanor, good interpersonal skills, and ability to prioritize are necessary.
- An excellent customer service attitude and attention to detail are crucial.
