Job Title: Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our team at Hyatt Place Columbus/OSU. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional guest service, including check-in and check-out processes, room assignments, and resolving guest issues.
  • Assist guests with luggage, coffee, directions, wake-up calls, and future reservations.
  • Provide information to guests and visitors, and coordinate special arrangements of services.
  • Answer hotel telephones and respond to guest inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests, adhering to recipe and presentation standards.
  • Be familiar with the operation of the POS system and assist with food orders and serving.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment for guests, including clearing tables during service.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong command of the English language, including speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment with constant guest interaction.
  • Must be able to multi-task and lift moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs).
  • Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or related field.
