Job Summary

The Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the skilled nursing facility, ensuring accurate and timely billing, collections, and resident trust accounting.

This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to supervise and train staff, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train business office staff, including receptionists and assistant business office managers
  • Oversee patient billing and collections, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage resident trust accounting, including security of patient funds
  • Collaborate with central billing office and regional business office manager to ensure seamless operations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • High school diploma and minimum one year experience in a skilled nursing facility business office setting
  • Prior supervisor experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Point Click Care (PCC) billing system and National Data Care Resident Funds Management System (RFMS)
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
